Eyes Yog

In each act of Yogasana, various positions such as stretching, pressure are coming and in these different positions have their own benefit. Thus, the eyes which are most sensible organs in our body and also paramount important organ too, without which the life is impossible, means both our eyes. Some beneficial acts relating to eyes are shown hereunder. Thus, if we look than the natural formation of eyes is such that no any difficulty would be faced but we are able to see them. In the modern age, due to heavy use of TV and computer, children having tender age also seen wearing spectacles of thick glass, which is very much painful matter. So we shall acquire information relating to each act of our eyes and perform regularly and also make others to do it in regular manner.

With a view of Yoga Science, for making brighter eye sight Tratak is shown as important means and really it is very much beneficial. But before performing Tratak, eyes are required to be prepared. So some acts for preparing eyes ready are shown hereunder, which should be practiced regularly.

Act No.1:     Press eyes:

Apply pressure forcefully on the eyes with the help of surrounding and eyes muscles close them. Maintain the said pressure for some seconds (10-12 seconds) and thereafter loosen muscles and loose up eyes. Thus, this act be done for 5 to 7 times.

Act No.2:     To open and close eyes:

Sit down in very much comfortable position. Thereafter, open and close the eyes speedily as much as possible. After performing this exercise as per capacity, give rest to eyes for some time. 

Act No.3:     To move eyes in various directions:

Left eye and right eye be moved in different directions accordingly. Repetition of this act be made for 12 to 15 times.

Act No.4:     Up and down of eyes:

Take down eyes as far as possible, thereafter take them more and more down as far as possible. This act be also performed for 10 to 12 times. 

Act No.5:     On left side and left side down:

Take eyes on the upper corner of left side and same way take towards corner of right side. Perform this act for 15 times.

Act No.6:     On right side and left side down:

Take eyes on the upper corner of right side and same way take towards corner of left side down. Perform this act for 15 times.

Act No.7:     Eyes to move in rounds:

Firstly move the eyes in round from down to up in the direction of watch strips. Thereafter, move in round anti-clock vise from down to up. Perform this act for 15 times on both sides.
